Edit CELTIC STAR JIMMY JOHNSTONE, IBROX STADIUM, AUGUST 1967
Jimmy 'Jinky' Johnstone was voted the greatest ever Celtic player last weekend and this shot shows why the winger was so loved at Parkhead.
Here, Jimmy leaves another Scottish football legend, Rangers stalwart John Greig, right, in his wake as cuts in from the byline to set up another attack for Celtic in front of a full house at Ibrox.
This opening League Cup encounter of season 1967-68 ended 1-1, and Celtic went on to win the trophy and the league.
It would be 1975 before Rangers won the league and ended the Hoops' 'nine in a row' sequence.
Ibrox Stadium has, of course, changed since this photo was taken, but the blue and white panelling on the main stand remains.
