ATLEAST 10,000 people in the east end of Glasgow should land jobs created by the massive regeneration of the area.Glasgow City Council wants to create 20,000 jobs on the back of the Clyde Gateway project. (continued)

Parkhead is a neighborhood in Glasgow. Its name comes from a small weaving hamlet at the meeting place of the Great Eastern Road (now the Gallowgate and Tollcross Road) and Westmuir Street. Duke Street and Springfield Road also meet there, to form a turreted Edwardian five-way junction at Parkhead Cross.
